(About Jack)
Senior content manager.
Freelance editor.
I started out editing at Standby Productions, a Manchester post-production company, working with agencies and brands before taking that experience to Lancashire Cricket, where I’m now Senior Content Manager. I’ve continued to edit independently throughout, often as part of someone else’s team.
Over the past 12 years, I’ve seen video move from a specialist part of the marketing mix to something expected in almost every campaign. I worked through the rise of social-first content, faster turnarounds and the need to deliver across multiple platforms without compromising on quality.
That experience means I can adapt to different clients, briefs and ways of working, whether I’m matching a house style, building motion graphics or cutting a campaign film. As AI changes the industry again, I’m interested in the tools that genuinely improve how we work, without losing the judgement that makes an edit good.
